Just one of the many integrated campaigns we have developed to bring the East of England Co-op’s message to life with complete authenticity.
All of the major supermarkets champion their local produce but few, if any, have the credentials of the East of England Co-op in working with their producers. With over 100 suppliers now on-board stocking 1000’s of products, our brief was to tell this story in an authentic and engaging way whilst reaching new customers through awareness media.
One of the greatest attributes of Sourced Locally is the strong partnerships which have been developed between the East of England Co-op and the 100s of local businesses who supply them with brilliant products. So we asked people like Laura and Robert at Fairfields Farm Crisps to talk about why working with their Co-op is so important to their business across a fully integrated campaign.
A series of press ads helped to build awareness of the Sourced Locally product range across the East of England in all of the regional publications.
The Sourced Locally campaign was carried across a range of digital media, showing the range of produce available and also highlighting the success of the first 10 years of Sourced Locally.
A promotional door drop was designed to build awareness of the Sourced Locally fortnight, an event held across stores in the East of England.
It was then was extended through to the festive season with a range of local seasonal treats from mince pies to cinnamon spiced apple juice.
As well the local producers, a suite of photography was created to show the huge range of local produce available.
Over 400,000 door drops were delivered across the region and the Sourced Locally press ad campaign helped increase sales by 5.9% for the same period.
Over £970,000 was taken over the Sourced Locally fortnight event.
