It’s been a big and busy year for Jacob Bailey.
In 2023 our team have worked with regional, national and international clients on projects from brand strategy to designing and developing websites across sectors including finance, property, professional services and manufacturing, to name just a few.
We are also incredibly proud to celebrate our 25th birthday – and we kicked off celebrations in style earlier this month.
To round off the year, here are a few of our favourite projects from 2023 shared by some of the team.
Sodexo Circles Brand Strategy
Lee, Senior Designer
Creating the Sodexo Circles brand identity has been one of the most satisfying projects for me this year. The final brand largely kept to the original designs – from a designer’s point of view, this shows the Initial workshops that we collaborated on with the Circles team clearly pinpointed what they aimed to achieve. Their brief was specific, but we still had creative freedom to explore with enough assurance that we were meeting their requirements.
We’re delighted to see how happy the client is with their new identity following its recent launch:
“Jacob Bailey’s expertise and thorough process has given us a fresh perspective on our brand. We are confident this new strategy will help us create even more meaningful connections with our prospects, clients, partners, and employees. This strategic transformation represents a significant milestone in Circles’ journey.”

St Helena branding
Abi, Account Manager
St Helena is an Essex based charity that provides terminally ill people with specialist care, as well as supporting their friends, family and carers. Earlier in the year, we were briefed to create a new brand to reflect their three core values: Bold, Passionate, Caring. It is rewarding for our team to have been trusted to deliver such a significant piece of work for them.
My favourite part of this project was the brand sentiment work – analysing the results of an extensive online survey and face-to-face interviews to build an understanding of brand awareness and perceptions. Hearing from real people about how St Helena has made a difference to their lives was touching. This work has also allowed us to set a benchmark for a follow-up survey in 12 months' time, allowing for comparison against the new brand.
Redwood Collections Digital Marketing
Roj, Managing Partner
Our work with Redwood Collections aims to turn the perception of traditional debt collection on its head. Following a successful rebrand project together in 2021, we’ve since been working on a digital campaign with a carefully considered combination of paid and organic channels to drive digital engagement and leads.
This year we were thrilled that our work was ‘Highly Commended’ at The Drum Awards (B2B: Digital). The campaign has also been shortlisted by the UK Digital Excellence Awards in the B2B Integrated Campaign of the Year category and we’re looking forward to the results in 2024. A real testament to the hard work from our team.
ALEO Website
Bex, Senior Account Director
As part of the Dymax group, ALEO manufactures and supplies light engines for a variety of manufacturers across the world. This year we worked with the ALEO team to create website designs consistent with their new brand identity – reviewing the overall user experience to create a more sales-led customer journey online.
I particularly enjoyed this project as there were several stakeholders involved. From the client team to an external development team, we needed to keep everyone on the same page and work towards a shared goal. Our work didn’t stop once the designs were wrapped up – it was important to provide a clear handover and specification for development as well as providing additional quality assurance testing once the build was completed. We were pleased that the launch of ALEO ran smoothly and the website creates a great new digital home for their brand.
It was great to receive such positive feedback from the Dymax team:
“We really enjoyed working with Jacob Bailey on the new ALEO website. They put careful consideration into how we could utilise existing components alongside new features and worked diligently within our brand guidelines. The support we received from the Jacob Bailey team throughout the design process was great – from outline wireframes to the final interactive design elements. Their accompanying functional requirements documentation also helped to make the handover to the development team straightforward. We feel confident in the online presence for ALEO and look forward to the site driving conversions.”

Beaulieu Website
Hannah, Senior Designer
Beaulieu is a large-scale property development in Essex, built in partnership between Countryside and L&Q. We were asked to design and develop a new website for Beaulieu this year.
It was a challenge to ensure the website delivered for its two core audiences: residents living on-site and prospective buyers. The newly designed site architecture strikes a good balance between keeping residents informed with local news and events, as well as showcasing the exciting community, surrounding area and popular properties to encourage new people to register their interest. As Beaulieu continues to grow, the website gives Countryside a great platform to expand their digital reach and support ongoing marketing campaigns.
Looking ahead
After another varied and busy year, we can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store.
